In Te Maunga we did a research project. We learned about how to research different things like animals. First we had to pair up with a buddy once we did that we had to decide on what thing we were going to search about. When we were finished we marked it on the hand in sheet. The one thing I learned about was that eagle rays can leap their entire bodies out of the water while swimming close to the surface.
Kia ora! I am a year 4-5 student in Te Maunga at Paihia School, New Zealand. My teachers are Mrs Pou and Mr Ngata.

Statistics
In Te Maunga we did Statistics. We learnt how to collect data and make a tally Chart. First we had to buddy up with a classmate then we had to write down how we were going to collect the data. After we got the data we went to make a tally chart. My favourite part was collecting the data from the people in our classroom. I would go a bit faster next time we do this.
